Sabroso: Sopes

We have been missing Mexico badly, so what better way to reconnect than with food. One of our favorites is sopes! Originating in Culiacán, they are prepared all over Mexico and are enjoyed a variety of ways.


In the markets they are prepared on a comal and served with all sorts of  
delicious flavors...


With grilled shrimp and a little lime...




For  breakfast, just add eggs and slices of avocado...




With Chorizo (our favorite)...


Although some will argue that all of them are fantastic, as long as you have one of these.
